DESCRIPTION:The Halloween Costumes have been packed away and the Fireworks have gone off so now it’s time to turns our thoughts to Christmas. \nWe are holding our Christmas Market on Saturday 29th November between 10am – 1pm at the Scout Hut\, hopefully you have already seen our festive posters for the event. \nAnd we need your help and support to make this a great success. Please help us by donating items we can sell on the following stalls: \nCake Stall — big cakes\, little cakes\, flapjack\, tray-bakes\, biscuits etc\, bring out your inner Bake-Off Star and let it shine. The cake stall is always popular\, and your donations will make a big difference.  \nBottle Stall —requires all sorts of bottles to make it interesting. Fizzy\, cordial\, juices but of course wine\, whisky\, gin and vodka and other spirits are especially welcome. \nToys & Games — good quality games & toys that no longer hold your child’s imagination or those unwanted presents. \nWhite Elephant Stall — quality bric-a-brac required. It is a good time\, and for a good cause\, to pass on those presents that although well-meaning weren’t quite your style! \nRaffle & Tombola — they are always popular with our customers so the more prizes we have the more tickets we sell. \nWe would appreciate donations of any of these items and they can be dropped off on any of the Section nights between now and Friday 2th November between 6.30 – 8.30pm. \nJust as important is your presence on the day\, we look forward to seeing as many of you there with your children joining in our pre-Christmas fun.  \nThis year we will be sending some raffle tickets home with each of our Beavers\, Cubs and Scouts for you to purchase. Remember every penny raised goes to supporting the Group and subsidising events throughout the year and there are some Fantastic Prizes. \nBacon rolls\, soup and warm mince pies will be on sale from the kitchen and there will be hot chocolate and sweets available for those of you who have a sweeter tooth

DESCRIPTION:Our autumn jumble sale is on Saturday 7th October 1.00pm – 2.30pm (times are subject to change)\, we welcome donations of saleable bric-a-brac\, books\, toys and clothes to sell. No VHS/music cassettes\, CDs/DVDs or books please.  We sell very few of these items and they are expensive for us to dispose of.  Our quarterly jumble sales raise funds to support activities for young people in your community. Help is needed:\n\nFriday 6th October 6.30pm – 8.30pm for collecting and sorting jumble\nSaturday 7th October 12.00pm for setting up\nSaturday 7th October 12.30pm – 2.30pm selling jumble and also in the kitchen making tea/coffee etc\nSaturday 7th October 2.30pm – 3.30pm for packing away\n\nPlease come and help us if you can\, even for an hour\, no experience necessary\, just a willing pair of hands!
