Christmas Market

We are holding our Christmas Market on Saturday 23rd November between 10am – 1pm at the Scout Hut, hopefully you have already seen our festive posters for the event.
And we need your help and support to make this a great success. Please help us by donating items we can sell on the following stalls:
Cake Stall — big cakes, little cakes, flapjack, tray-bakes, biscuits etc, bring out your inner Bake-Off Star and let it shine. The cake stall is always popular, and your donations will make a big difference.
Bottle Stall —requires all sorts of bottles to make it interesting. Fizzy, cordial, juices but of course wine, whisky, gin and vodka and other spirits are especially welcome.
Toys & Games — good quality games & toys that no longer hold your child’s imagination or those unwanted presents.
CD’s, DVD’s & Books — all are welcome but especially any with a Christmas theme.
White Elephant Stall — quality bric-a-brac required. It is a good time, and for a good cause, to pass on those presents that although well-meaning weren’t quite your style!
Raffle & Tombola — they are always popular with our customers so the more prizes we have the more tickets we sell.
We would appreciate donations of any of these items and they can be dropped off on any of the Section nights between now and Friday 22nd November between 6.30 – 8.30pm.
Just as important is your presence on the day, we look forward to seeing as many of you there with your children joining in our pre-Christmas fun, and don’t forget Santa will be visiting us.
This year we will be sending some raffle tickets home with each of our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts for you to purchase. Remember every penny raised goes to supporting the Group and subsidising events throughout the year and there are some Fantastic Prizes.
Bacon rolls, soup and warm mince pies will be on sale from the kitchen and there will be hot chocolate and sweets available for those of you who have a sweeter tooth
