My daughter returned from the Fire & Ice camp tired and covered in mud, she said it was amazing!
Scouts follow on from Cubs and are typically 10½ to 14 years old.  In Scouts we aim to build and develop young people’s confidence, sense of adventure and outdoor skills.  We have a wide range of activities that have previously included:
  • Fire and ice camp.
  • Fire lighting.
  • Cooking on a camp fire.
  • Geocaching.
  • First Aid.
  • Visiting an observatory.
  • Bridge building.

We actively encourage parents and carers to volunteer in our group.  Do you have an interesting occupation or hobby that our Beavers would like to hear about? if so, please talk to our leaders.  Alternatively you might like to volunteer at one of our activity evenings or help on camp, an extra pair of hands is always welcome.
